If there is one thing in my life, that I actually would count as the all time most important life lesson... it is to be the real you, what your inner soul represents, to be apologetically you, with no doubts or fear of what others may think.
Let's get to know each other!
Are you ready...
I AM an artist, loving ALL things creative expression, from dance, painting, photography, sculpture, graphic design, etc... to appreciating all forms of other artists and designers.
I AM a mentor, an educator, offering my best efforts towards guiding others to living a "whole" lifestyle through holistic tools and knowledge, and through inner creativity.
I AM blunt, unfiltered, tell you like it is, kind of gal, because I believe that the truth always out weighs sugar coating or lies. Truth IS radical responsibility, awakening, and gives courage towards change. Truth never fails.
I AM an intuitive, with almost all of the "clairs"... and a full believer that EVERYONE has special gifts to share with the world, even if they don't know it yet.
I AM a mom, a self-doubting, "am I doing this whole parenting thing right", loving, supporting, and maybe a little too much protecting, kind of mom.
I AM Rev. HM
Rev. as in Revelator (not Reverend)
As in not affiliated with any one specific religion, but being compassionate towards all religions. Sharing love, kindness and hope to all who are in need. Sharing holistic knowledge and spiritual abundance, like Universal Laws, divine coaching, meditation and manifesting.
As in Spiritual AF.
SO I ASK YOU, WHO ARE YOU?
Are you ready to be unapologetically you?
Because being the real you, sets the stage for all real relationships you encounter in your life... I don't mean just romantic relationships, but also professional, loyal friendships and even general communication between strangers (who may become a great friend).
Because being the real you means freedom of letting go of your fears and doubts that hold you back from whatever it is you are looking for in life.
If you are ready, I want to know who the real you is. Affirm in the comments, "I AM........ (fill in)".
You can do this. You are strong and fearless.
Simple, relaxing meditation for occasional stress relief and inner calm. This is something that you can read, and remember easily to be able to just bring yourself to this state of being.
Find a comfortable seat, close your eyes and take a nice deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Focus on the oxygen traveling throughout your body as you breathe deeply in time. In and out. In and out.
Imagine each muscle relaxing starting at the top of your head traveling down through your back and shoulders. As you exhale the muscles in your body melt and become fully relaxed.
With each breath, soothe every joint, muscle, and bone as you allow yourself to sink further into your seat.
You can feel the energy traveling all the way down your legs in through the bottoms of your feet, as every muscle relaxes.
As you sit, think of nothing but an ocean scenery, of sand, blue water, warm breeze and the sunshine.
Take a moment to let this setting soak in.
Imagine with each breath that you take the waves the ocean come in and out as you inhale and exhale.
Allow your mind to ride the waves. Placing your hands on your belly you can feel the "up and down" of each wave.
With the intention that the water is washing away all of your stress, and your worries, allowing all of the uncertainties to flow into the ocean, far away, putting your mind, Heart, and Soul at peace.
As you sit comfortably, notice the negative energy washing away, being replaced with nothing but love and light.
Let all of this positive energy rush throughout your entire body starting at the bottoms of your feet heading towards your hips, into your chest, and through the top of your head.
Feel the floor beneath your feet. Notice the noises within the room. The smells around you as you become more aware. Taking last few deep breaths for complete cleansing.
When you are ready, you may open eyes.

The power of creating mandalas is like no other. You feel a space of complete mindfulness and a deepened spiritual journey. As you draw or paint beautiful, bold patterns and designs, a sense of peace overcomes your entire being, leaving you to feel whole.
One of my favorite things to do is interview others who are like-minded to me, soul-sisters and brothers who share the same mind waves that I do. I am a constant learner, and discovering what tugs on their heart strings is so fascinating that it has now become a passion of mine.
Today's posts is all about an amazing, whole hearted woman, Kelly Myszkowski. She is not only a holistic expert and body worker, she is
my friend. And I am blessed to share her wisdom, heart and soul with you, today. Enjoy!
Heather: In your own words, what is your perception of the term holistic?
Kelly: I often like to spell it "Wholistic". To me, it means acknowledging that we're an integral aspect of "All That Is", the Universe, the Whole, not separate from it, nor are we a collection of "parts". We're energy which has various qualities (wavelengths and frequencies within our current scientific paradigms). In lay terms those qualities may be expressed as: mind, body, spirit, physical, mental, emotional, consciousness, non-consciousness, Soul, thoughts, feelings, emotions, organs, muscles, bones, actions, experiences, etc.
At times, it's helpful to define those aspects of our BEINGNESS using terms like those above, especially for the sake of wellness discussions and understanding ourselves.
The health and function of each aspect has an impact on all the others. Affecting one aspect of ourselves has an impact on all the other aspects. Some more so than others.
Each aspect, because of its different qualities and characteristics, may benefit most from being tended to in a slightly different way than the others, yes. I live that, and that knowledge is needed when I work with clients. Sometimes a more physical approach is needed, sometimes another approach is the best way to facilitate change. But, they are naturally inseparable.
Remember, we came from no-thing, informed into fluids that combined and developed into some-thing - this thing we know as "US". All one. Within that sperm and egg were the beginnings of everything that is you now.
A wholistic approach to life, and healing, means understanding that relationship, nurturing, and respecting it. What's best in the long run, overall, for the whole?
Heather: Your life, holistic being what does your day look like?
Kelly: I'm a whole bunch of infinite BEINGNESS and potential, with many YOU-niqie aspects making me ...ME. I tend to my inner world so mind-body-Soul are optimally aligned. Then, I'm naturally in the FLOW, Source is supporting me fully in being my best self, happiest, healthiest, and contributing my gifts and talents fully and optimally to the world. Living On-Purpose. When I'm not in alignment, I experience stress. Stress is our signal that we are out of alignment with our design, who we ARE.
So, on a daily basis, I'm constantly tuning in to my inner world to be aware of what I'm thinking, feeling, desiring, and needing. Thoughts, feelings, nourishment, productivity, rest, hygiene, fun, companionship, solitude, etc. I look at what I really DO need to accomplish in order to function in the world - those time sensitive issues, and the responsibilities that I really can't shirk (moms, do feed your babies, please!). I do my best to tend to "shoulds" when it feels best for me, within the requisite time constraints.
I've begun familiarizing myself with Human Design, and my design type (Projector) actually is very different. We require a lot of rest, and fun. We don't have the ability to source energy the way other types do, and, therefore have less stamina. I honor that.
I typically ask, "What do I have to do now? What do I want to do now? What do I need now? What do I feel most like doing now?" And, sometimes, the answer is to just... BE. Sometimes that's just fun time, or time in nature, or listening to/watching something entertaining. Sometimes I catch up on my "to-do" list to release my attachment to it and that feels good. Sometimes its meditation. Sometimes it's drinking a smoothie. Sometimes its emoting with tears, expressing anger/frustration, or laughing my ass off and dancing.
Heather: What is your favorite pastime? Do you have a specific Hobby?
Kelly: My favorite pastime is having variety and balance in my life and feeling like doing whatever I choose to do, even if it's just BEING ("being" is sooooo underrated and undervalued - and we see signs of that changing with more family-friendly work atmospheres and shorter work weeks). My favorite place to pass time is in the 1000 Islands region of NY on, or by, the water. It feels open and limitless. I also balance time among: my 2- and 4-legged loved ones, walking, laughing, making others laugh, creating (write, crafts, creating information products, etc.), reading, listening to music, watching movies/programs that are uplifting to my Soul and/or support my growth and expansion, and learning what I'm here to learn. It's more about knowing what I need energetically in the moment, than playing vs. working. I really don't "work" - I enjoy everything I do - it's just a matter of the nature of the energy demands.
Heather: What would be the most important tip you would give someone that desired wholism within their lifestyle?
Kelly: Self awareness is key. Knowing who you TRULY ARE, and what your Soul's telling you you need in the moment is ultimately the key to having a balanced, whole, healthy, happy, successful, fulfilling life.
That means knowing what you're thinking and feeling. If you feel something's missing, and/or stressed, or you're experiencing health issues, you're out of balance and alignment. Some aspect of you needs tending. In some cases its a simple fix. The sooner you're aware of that nudge for change, the easier it generally is. If your life is a "mess", and/or you have health issues, you've likely missed or ignored the early whispers of your Soul telling you you need to get back into alignment.
Fear gets in our way. Fear is a signal that our survival is threatened, so instinctively we avoid the thing that brings feelings of fear because our job is to survive. That's how we're built, and programmed. All of us. It isn't our fault. It's our programming, and we CAN change it. How empowering is THAT?
Intellectually, logically, we may know we need a change. But, our subconscious tells us all the reasons we can't, won't, shouldn't, don't deserve, it won't work, we aren't enough, etc. It's learned by age 7 almost everything it really needs to know to keep us alive. And, instinctively, it won't let us change because it doesn't trust any new programming to keep us alive. It knows what's worked so far. As counter-intuitive as that seems.
Being aware of that fear is also part of self awareness. Knowing when that voice is getting in the way, keeping us from living in full self expression, is the first step to making changes. Being willing and courageous enough to challenge those limiting core beliefs, working our way through dissolving them, and creating new ones, is part of life. Since beliefs live in our bodies as a set of physiological patterns which are integral with our thoughts, we need a "w"holistic "bodymindfulness" approach to health and wellbeing.
Heather: How long have you practicing a life of holistic modalities, and what is the reason behind the start of your journey?
Kelly: When I was an adolescent I realized I had great instincts, and that the "right" opportunities presented themselves. So, some of my beliefs and attitudes were noticeable to me at that point. In my early adult life I began experiencing some physical symptoms that eluded medical explanations and diagnoses. They really weren't all that strange, nor serious. However, none of the conventional medical approaches helped, nor did ergonomic intervention (they were related to my work). Part of the problem was that the doctors were not taking a (drumroll, please.......) wholistic approach. Ha! Thankfully, I listened to my inner knowing, and persevered. That's when my deep dive into a wholistic approach really took hold in my life. That was in the mid-1990's. It really started with receiving craniosacral therapy, supported by a whole host of additional bodymind tools, techniques, etc. I noticed that EVERYTHING began to change together. My life, my mind, my body. Who knew? My Soul. I just didn't listen to its whispers earlier, nor did I have what it took to listen and act.... it was time for a change. And, when I listened, trusted, walked through the fear, voilá!!!
Now, I do interviews like this, among other wonderful things. Thank you, Heather!

I can remember growing up that I always wanted to be a younger mom. I didn't want to wait too long to have children because I wanted to be able to enjoy life with them, be able to travel, and just simply be their best friend. At least I thought that's what I wanted. I thought I had everything under control and in order. I had a good job, I had been in a long-term relationship for years, and I knew that I was ready to start a family. But what I didn't know was that having a child was going to change everything that I thought I knew.
About six months into my pregnancy, the relationship that I thought was solid, was starting to spiral downward. I could not figure out why, I tried everything to fix what was broken. But the question was, "what was broken?". At some point along the way the relationship that I had been in for years had turned sour. I believe that the stress of bringing a baby into our world played a large part in the tension between the two of us. We both changed. It didn't make either one of us right or wrong, but the change we were experiencing only made the relationship unhealthy and even toxic. I was focusing on nothing but work, eating right, trying to sleep, trying to fix my relationship, and grow a tiny little human in my very large belly. And as a result, I was overly drained and exhausted. I had completely lost myself.
Fast forward a few months, it was time we meet or beautiful little girl. Of what was supposed to be the most wonderful time of our life, was nothing more than frustration because of the strain we had between the two of us. Don't get me wrong, once she was born and we had her in our arms, all of those emotions melted away and turned into love and joy as we welcomed her to our family. But even so, nothing changed between the two of us when it came to the relationship. Actually, it only got worse.
About a year and a half went by, trying to fix "us", but nothing would budge. I felt more alone than I ever had in my entire life. I wasn't the mother I wanted to be or even the woman, or partner, I knew I could be. I knew at that point, that a drastic change had to be made. Of course I loved him, and I wanted to be together as a family more than anything, but I couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel, and I had to make a move, for me.
I took a leap of faith, and trusted my instincts, began to study different healing modalities, and became the woman and mother that I knew I could be. It was all very "Eat Pray Love" minus the travel.
I had always used essential oils as a part of my everyday and throughout my entire pregnancy. And near the end of my relationship, I had taken a Reiki Level 1 class. From that point on, I knew somehow Reiki would become a part of my life. Throughout my healing process, I finished my Reiki lessons, became a Reiki Master, ordained as a Minister Practitioner, and got certified in Spiritual Counseling.
I always knew that I wanted my child to grow up in a holistic environment, healthy for mind, body, spirit and soul with no toxic chemicals or negative energy when it could be helped. When I collaborated all of my studies with this, it all simply made since. I finally knew what my passions and purpose was.
Today, I run a successful holistic center where I help women and spiritual women entrepreneurs, regain their confidence and live out their soul purpose. I provide several healing services, mentoring and even branding design for fellow healers, worldwide.
I know what it's like to feel lost, and nearly hopeless. But I also know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, sometimes you just need a reason to open your eyes... And to that, I am forever blessed for a beautiful baby girl.
